AtlantisFX | Singapore's online automotive marketplace sgCarMart and the decentralized data exchange protocol Ocean Protocol open up a blockchain-driven "know-your-vehicle" data marketplace. This was announced in a press release on July 5th.
The so-called know-your-vehicle used-car data marketplace is intended to provide a secure way to exchange information about used cars in Singapore and to access them. In 2018, almost 9,000 cars per month are said to have changed hands.
The purpose of the product is to give customers the opportunity to track the production data on a vehicle and then its history. Subsequently, the parties want to use this data to help other industries and the government improve products and services.
